City of SGF – Sanitary Sewer District 241 of Section 6 Bid

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Notice No. 2733

Sealed bids for the Sanitary Sewer District 241 of Section 6 will be accepted at the City of Springfield, Busch Building, 840 North Boonville, Springfield, MO  65802 until 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 and then publicly opened and read aloud in the 2nd Floor West Conference Room of the Busch Building.  Bids received after 10:30 a.m. will be returned unopened.

This project consists of approximately 1000 feet of eight (8) inch sanitary sewer with six (6) manholes, eight (8) lateral connection stub-outs, and related appurtenances.

 Bid Documents and Plans can be obtained at Engineers Reprographics at 1600 E. St. Louis, Springfield, MO, 65802, phone 417-869-2222, or erdigital.com.  For further bidding information, contact Albert Polocoser, City of Springfield, Environmental Services, at 417-864-1933.

A certified or cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each proposal.  Note all labor shall be paid Missouri Prevailing Wages.  The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in bids.

The City of Springfield, Missouri hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
