Title: RFP 64308 for 48” Raw Water Main Costco Development

Description:

Work includes the installation and connection of 48-inch ductile iron pipe raw water main, valves, and

appurtenances as indicated in the drawings.

Work under the base bid includes:

• Provide and install approximately 900 feet of 48-inch raw water main from station 433+37

to station 442+00 (AHD.)/ 442+41.86 (BK.) as shown on the plans, fittings, air release

valve, blow off valve, pressure testing and connection to existing main. The main bid

includes proper dewatering of the existing main north of station 433+42 (with the required

BMP’s).

Work under Option 1 for additional work includes:

• Provide work listed under the base bid PLUS approximately 1940 feet of 48-inch raw water

main from station 442+00 (AHD.)/ 442+41.86 (BK.) to station 461+36, blow off valves, air

release valve, pressure testing and connection to existing main including 273 feet of the

total being installed in an existing 66-inch casing. This alternative includes proper

dewatering of the existing main south of station 461+36 (with required BMP’s).
