APAC-Central Inc.
68 Years in Business

APAC Central, Inc. has had its share of names and owners throughout the years, but their dedication to quality and performance has always remained the same. Most recently, Ash Grove Aggregates and Conco Companies were welcomed into the CRH family in 2019. APAC provides asphalt paving and FOB supply, concrete site work, and cutback oil supply. The APAC Central, Inc Southern Missouri operations services all of Springfield and Joplin with permanent and portable asphalt plants.

Because change has been a constant throughout the years, it’s something they have learned to manage well in the business in construction. Change in weather, specifications, material prices, technology, and many other aspects of construction work are constant challenges that are faced and dealt with; having learned to expect change and roll with it.

APAC has a dedication to performing quality work while maintaining a focus on safety above all. This shows with APAC’s safety record with a current EMR below .50. Quality and integrity are non-negotiable expectations for all employees. Throughout the years, APAC has received multiple statewide and national awards for completed projects including 14 Quality in Construction Awards for projects since 2004 from the The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA). The Rt. 44 Jasper project in 2013 received the Sheldon G. Hayes from NAPA – the highest asphalt paving award in the United States for projects over 50,000 tons of asphalt. APAC was runner-up for this award in 2004 and 2017.

Throughout its history APAC has been an active member and supporter of the SCA and their numerous events and committees. APAC is proud to have served on the Scholarship, R12, Architects/Government Liaison, Chicken BBQ and Workforce Development Committees as well as the SCA Board. The SCA has provided high level networking and social events that have benefited APAC’s personnel and business at large.

2020 Christmas Food Drive

As we wrap up 2020, please consider donating non-perishable food items for the SCA Food Drive. There is an overwhelming need of assistance this year, so let’s show the construction industry cares about our community.

Please make sure any donations are dropped off at the SCA Office by this Thursday, December 31st at noon.

Conference Room Chairs for Sale

SCA is updating our small conference including new conference room chairs. If you or your company need a set of used office chairs, the hunter green HON chairs from our small conference room are for sale. These chairs are still in good condition with very little wear.
