Star Wholesale Supply
25 Years in Business

Star Wholesale is a Supplier of Plumbing and Mechanical Pipe, valves and fittings, among a variety of other equipment.
In 1980, Star opened in Springdale, Arkansas, as Star Mechanical Supply. In 1995, they opened in Springfield under the name Star Wholesale Supply. In 1996, Star opened in Fort Smith, Arkansas, as Star Mechanical Supply, then expanded again to Joplin as Star Wholesale Supply in 2011.
Star began with three employees in Springfield, and has grown to approximately 40 employees, many having been employed over 15 years, some for the entire 25 years.
Star was not just a random name picked out for the company. STAR came from the last names of the original owners, which consisted of Hurshel Sale, John Taylor and Roy Rogers. It continues to be a locally and family-owned business!
Star Wholesale participates in the Spring and Fall Shoot out held at Ozark Shooters, the Annual Pig Roast, Golf Tournaments, and more.

SCA has purchased new conference room chairs. If you or your company need a set of used office chairs, the hunter green HON chairs from our small conference room are for sale. These chairs are still in good condition with very little wear.

City of Springfield Commissions and Boards

Do you live in the City of Springfield city limits? If so, please be aware there are opportunities to serve if you can make the time. For example, the City of Springfield’s Planning and Zoning Commission will have multiple openings as terms expire at the end of the year.

It is important for the City to have representation from the industry on committees making decisions and recommendations that impact the industry.
