Fabick Cat
104 Years in Business

Fabick Cat offers Sales, Service, and Parts for Caterpillar machines and other heavy equipment brands across many industries including Construction, Mining, Forestry, Agriculture, Landscaping and Building Trades. We also provide Power Systems options including Electric Power Generation, Industrial & Marine Engines, Compressed Air and Temperature Control and rental options for Cat machines, attachments, aerial, power and other job site equipment for short or long-term rental needs.

For over 100 years, Fabick Cat has been employing and serving the hard-working men and women that improve the quality of life in our community. The first Fabick company was established in 1917, with only three employees and one small store on South Grand Avenue in St. Louis. Current day we have over 1,200 employees throughout 37 locations across our territory – with your local Fabick Cat Springfield store beginning operations in 2002.

We believe in the vision of our founder, John Fabick Sr., who set out to build the greatest service organization of its kind. He adopted the motto “To Ever Serve Our Customers Better.” To this day, over 100 years later, these words remain the foundation of our organization.
Members of the Fabick family’s third, fourth, and fifth generations, are currently working together under the active leadership of the founder’s great-grandson, Douglas Fabick, as CEO and Dealer Principal along with Jeré Fabick serving as President and co-Dealer Principal.

As a multi-generational, family-owned business we are committed to customer loyalty, exceeding expectations and the safety of our customers and employees. What makes Fabick Cat unique is not only its size, but its outstanding people, support, and facilities bound together by the single concept of total service capability for the equipment owner.

Generation Next Membership Competition

In an effort to boost involvement and help owners and managers get their younger employees involved in the Generation Next group, Gen Next is going to pay the 2022 SCA membership fee for the company that gets the most new members to attend Gen Next monthly meetings in 2021.

Generation Next meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month either in the evening or over lunch. Anyone that is a member of the SCA and is under 40 years old can be a member of Generation Next for no additional cost. New members will be counted at each monthly meeting, and a yearend total will determine which SCA Member Company had the most new members for the year attend.

If you have employees that are under the age of 40 and want to get involved in Generation Next or you want to know more about the group, please contact Tim Potthoff at tim.potthoff@nabholz.com or Dana Haase at dana.haase@nabholz.com anytime.
