Gold Mechanical
33 Years in Business

Gold Mechanical provides commercial HVAC service and installation on new and remodel projects. They also provide plumbing installation, as well as boilers and chillers.
In 2016 Gold Mechanical was selected as a finalist in the Springfield Business Journal Economic Impact awards for companies 16-29 years of age. This year our president, Ron Bogart, was selected as one of SBJ’s Men of the Year 2020.
Since Gold Mechanical performs so many construction projects, it’s a little-known fact that Gold has one of the largest and best commercial HVAC service companies in the area. They are nationally recognized by large chain store service providers for preventive maintenance and repairs.
Gold Mechanical, Inc., was founded in 1987 by Dwain Gold. The company steadily grew to a size of 150 employees completing projects in the four-state area. Prior to Dwain’s retirement in 2015, he wanted to maintain the legacy he built and give back to those who helped build it. It was for those reasons he established an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) and, as of July 2020, the company is 100% employee owned and debt free. Gold Mechanical has continued to grow throughout this transition and is successfully establishing a new era while staying committed to the qualities that made this company great.
The top three projects Gold Mechanical is most proud of would be rebuilding the Joplin Schools following the 2011 tornado and providing the plumbing and HVAC for the new Veterans Hospital here in Springfield. The project that we completed with the most notoriety is the Wonders of Wildlife Museum.
Gold Mechanical had a booth at the last Build My Future event and regularly participates as a presenter at school assemblies, promoting the trades to high school and junior high students. They also enjoy attending and sponsoring the shooting and golfing events.
