City of Springfield – Renew Jordan Creek Main to Boonville (Project A) Bid

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Notice No. 2756
Sealed bids for 2019PW0073, RENEW JORDAN CREEK MAIN TO BOONVILLE (Project A) will be accepted at the City of Springfield, SRT Building (Old Mill Building) – Central and Campbell, 216 W. Central Street, Springfield, MO 65802 until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 18, and then publicly opened and read aloud at the SRT Building Auditorium. Bids received after 2:00 PM will be returned unopened.

The project (also known as Jordan Creek Daylighting Phase I) includes excavation of more than 38,000 cubic yards of soils to create naturalized open channel between N. Main Ave. and N Boonville Ave. The project also includes sanitary sewer main improvements, installation of civic plaza spaces, greenway trail segments, dog park facilities, pre-Engineered arch bridge, as well as site-wide ADA improvements, paving, and green infrastructure improvements consisting of bioswales and native planted riparian areas.

The project is being bid under the Construction Manager-at-Risk project delivery method. Pre-bid Conference/Site Investigation: A pre-bid conference will be held at 1:30 PM. on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in the 2nd floor West Conference Room of the Busch Building located at 840 N. Boonville Avenue. Pre-bid conference will also be held virtually. See bid documents for details for virtual attendance. All Bidders are encouraged to review the work site and attend the Pre-bid Conference, but it is not mandatory.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in bids.

Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications.

This project is being financed through the Missouri State Revolving Fund, by the Water and Wastewater Loan Revolving Fund and federal Capitalization Grants to Missouri.
