Sealed bids for the Galloway Street Widening from Luster to Lone Pine Ave Improvements will be accepted at the City of Springfield, Busch Building, 840 Boonville, Springfield, MO 65802 until 10:30 a.m. on June 4, 2024, and then publicly opened and read aloud on the 2nd floor West Conference Room of the Busch Building. Bids received after 10:30 a.m. will be returned unopened.

Project consists of Placing Roundabouts at the intersections of Luster Ave and Galloway St along the Lone Pine Ave and Galloway St, Widening Galloway between said roundabouts, installing new stormwater infrastructure including water quality basins, a multiuse 10 ft trail on the northside and a 5 ft sidewalk on the southside of Galloway St.

Pre-bid Conference/Site Investigation: A Pre-bid conference will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. May 22, 2024, in the 2nd floor West Conference Room of the Busch Building. All Bidders are encouraged to review the work site and attend the Pre-bid Conference.

A certified or cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each proposal.  Note all labor shall be paid Missouri Prevailing Wages.  The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in bids.

The City is committed to providing opportunities to DBE, MBE, and WBE prime, general, and subcontractors and encourages such business enterprises to submit responses.
