HUNT BRANCH TRUNK SEWER – PHASE 1 

Sealed bids for the Hunt Branch Trunk Sewer – Phase 1 will be accepted at the City of Springfield, Busch Building, 840 Boonville, Springfield, MO 65802 until 10:00 a.m. on October 10,2023 and then publicly opened and read aloud on the 2nd floor West Conference room of the Busch Building Bids received after 10 a.m. will be returned unopened.

The project consists of approximately 9,300 feet of sewer line varying in diameter from 21 inches to 8 inches with 29 manholes.

Bid Documents and Plans can be obtained at Springfield Blue Print at 219 E. Pershing, Springfield, MO 65806, phone 417-869-7316, or www.spfdblue.com. For further bidding information, contact Tim Schoenhoff, City of Springfield, Environmental Services, at 417-864-1931.

Pre-bid Conference: A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on September 21, 2023, in the 2nd floor West Conference room of the Busch Building.  All Bidders are encouraged to review the work site and attend the Pre-bid Conference. 

A certified or cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each proposal. Note all labor shall be paid Missouri Prevailing Wages. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in bids.

The City of Springfield, Missouri hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will  not be discriminated on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
