PROJECT: ELECTRICAL SERVICES (CITY-WIDE)
The City of Springfield is seeking a qualified contractor(s) for a time and materials contract for on-call, on-site Electrical Services (City-Wide), as well as new and replacement equipment. The resulting contract shall include all labor, equipment, licensing, materials, tools, travel, and all other items necessary to complete work on an “as required if required basis”. The minimum requirements for electrical services shall include, but are not limited to installing, repairing, servicing, maintaining, and adjusting electrical systems and equipment owned and/or operated by the City of Springfield. A contract will be issued in the form of a one-year contract with four (4) one-year renewals.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A pre-bid conference will be held on May 13, 2021, at 2:00 PM CST via videoconference through Zoom. To participate, email the Buyer, Margaret Juarez (mjuarez@springfieldmo.gov) for the link and password. The Pre-Bid Conference is not mandatory; however, attendance is strongly advised.
Bids must be received electronically in the City’s e-bidding service provider DemandStar by 3:30 P.M. CST on TUESDAY, MAY 25, 2021.
All wages paid for work under this Contract shall comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law of the State of Missouri, Sec 290.210 et seq., R.S. Mo., as amended by the Division of Labor Standards, State of Missouri and regulations promulgated by the Division of Labor. The City of Springfield hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
