PROJECT:  HVAC SERVICES (CITY-WIDE)

The City of Springfield is seeking a time and materials contract for a qualified firm(s) to provide heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) services on an as-needed basis.  Minimum requirements for HVAC services the work includes, but is not limited to, installing, repairing, servicing, maintaining, and adjusting heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and associated equipment owned and/or operated by the City of Springfield.   Many City facilities are open to the public and timeliness of the awarded Contractor to perform services is of the essence.  When a project is assigned, the Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, insurance, fuels, applicable permits, and any and all other items necessary to complete the HVAC services as specified herein.  This contract will establish unit prices which will remain fixed for the term of the contract.  A contract will be issued in the form of a one-year contract with the option of four (4) one-year renewals.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE:  A pre-bid conference will be held on May 13, 2021, at 10:00 AM CST via videoconference through Zoom.  To participate, email the Buyer, Margaret Juarez (mjuarez@springfieldmo.gov) for the link and password. The Pre-Bid Conference is not mandatory; however, attendance is strongly advised.

Bids must be received electronically in the City’s e-bidding service provider DemandStar by 3:00 P.M. CST on TUESDAY, MAY 25, 2021.  

All wages paid for work under this Contract shall comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law of the State of Missouri, Sec 290.210 et seq., R.S. Mo., as amended by the Division of Labor Standards, State of Missouri and regulations promulgated by the Division of Labor.  The City of Springfield hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
