City Utilities of Springfield, Missouri (CU) receives funding from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to assist with the operation of CU’s public transit system. As a recipient of FTA funding, and in accordance with 49 CFR Part 26, CU is required to have a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program and a DBE Goal. The DBE program is only applicable to CU Transit Services projects which utilize federal funds.
In compliance with these DBE regulations, every three (3) years CU sets a goal for DBE participation in FTA assisted contracts. The goal for CU must be based on demonstrable evidence of the availability of ready, willing, and able certified DBEs relative to all businesses ready, willing, and able to participate on CU Transit Services contracts funded by FTA.

- Miscellaneous Bus Parts
