The inline Starbucks at Battlefield Mall  (2825 S. Glenstone Ave., suite V01A, Springfield, MO 65804) will be closing on 7/25/24. Attached is the scope of work to decommission the inline store by painting over all wood millwork with white primer, remove backsplash tile and patch/replace damaged drywall, remove/destroy all signs, furniture, follow the equipment decommission guidelines attached to destroy / de-program / or just remove decals as directed, and black out or cover exterior windows per mall operations criteria. Starbucks branded exterior signage to be covered/removed within 24 hours of store closure. The store is to be left in a presentable condition following the decommissioning. Any equipment not noted to be removed should be left as-is in place.

Any work to be completed in the mall common shall be completed when mall is closed. Work within the space can be completed while mall is open. If there is loud work to be completed in the space, this shall be completed after mall closes and before mall opens. GC shall be required to follow Mall Rules and Regulations for Construction.

The store is still operating through 7/25/24, therefore walk-thru will need to be confidential and scheduled outside of business hours. Please contact the center’s Operations Director Trevor Thornton trevor.thornton@simon.com or 417.883.4111 for site access.

For this limited scope, we are asking for a proposal, submitted by EOD Tuesday 7/23/24, and requesting if work can be completed during the timeframe of Saturday 7/27/24 and full completion by Friday 8/2/24 (with the exception of removing/covering the exterior Starbucks signage within 24 hours of close). If not able to complete by requested timeline, please provide your best timeline to complete the work.

Upon work completion, GC is required to provide photographic documentation of all sign and equipment destructions as well as overall pictures of the store interior and storefront following the work as well as the signed Starbucks Certificate of Destruction in the attached packet.
