MIDDLE SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL FEMA SAFE ROOM – FORDLAND R-III SCHOOL DISTRICTINVITATION TO CONTRACTORS
Notice is hereby given that Fordland R-III School District will receive sealed bids from experienced contractors at their
District’s Central Office, 1230 School St, Fordland, MO 65652 until March 8th, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. for the:
FEMA SAFE ROOM FOR: FORDLAND R-III SCHOOL DISTRICT

Nabholz Construction will represent Fordland R-III School District as the Construction Management Agency. The unified bids shall include all work included in the Contract Documents including, but not limited to final cleaning, demolition, concrete, precast concrete, structural steel, finish carpentry, millwork, waterproofing, EIFS, wall panels, roofing, doors, coiling doors, glazing, drywall, flooring, painting, lockers, gym equipment, bleachers, pre-engineered metal buildings, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, earthwork, asphalt, termite control, aggregate piers, pavement markings, fencing, landscaping, and site utilities.
The project consists of a 3,075 square foot precast concrete ICC 500 FEMA P-361 rated Safe Room to contain a lobby area with associated storage, mechanical, restrooms and non-FEMA vestibule. Site work will include the development of the site, sidewalk, revised parking area, supporting site utilities, and associated utility improvements.
Bids will be opened and read aloud at 2:00pm on March 8th, 2022 at the Conference Room located in Fordland’s Central Office.

Bid bonds are required for contractor proposals over $100,000.
Payment & Performance Bonds are required for the full contract amount.
Plans and Specifications will be available February 10th, 2022
