INVITATION TO SUBCONTRACTORS
Notice is hereby given that Waynesville R-VI School District will receive sealed bids from experienced subcontractors at their District’s Central Office, 200 Fleetwood Drive, Waynesville, Missouri 65583 until March 1st, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. for the:
FEMA SAFE ROOM FOR:

Waynesville, Missouri 65583
Nabholz Construction will represent Waynesville R-VI School District as the Construction Manager. The unified bids shall include all work included in the Contract Documents including, but not limited to final cleaning, demolition, concrete, precast concrete, structural steel, finish carpentry, millwork, waterproofing, roofing, doors, glazing, drywall, flooring, painting, lockers, gym equipment, bleachers, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, earthwork, termite control, landscaping, and site utilities.
The project consists of a 9,056 square foot precast concrete ICC 500 FEMA P-361 rated Safe Room to contain a gymnasium area with associated storage, mechanical, and restrooms and a 550 square foot non-FEMA connector. Site work will include the development of the site, sidewalks, and supporting site utilities.
Bids will be opened and read aloud at 2:00pm on March 1st, 2022 at the Conference Room located in Waynesville R-VI School District, 200 Fleetwood Drive, Waynesville, Missouri 65583

Bid bonds are required for subcontractor proposals over $100,000.
Payment & Performance Bonds are required for the full contract amount.
Plans, Specifications, Bid Forms and Instructions to Bidders will be available February 8th, 2022

A pre-bid meeting for Contractors will be held at Waynesville R-VI Central Office, on February 15th, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Conference Room located 200 Fleetwood Drive, Waynesville, Missouri 65583. We will meet and go over the agenda then make a site visit to Freedom Elementary located at 286 Eastlawn Avenue, St. Robert, MO 65584. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is strongly encouraged but not mandatory.
The Waynesville R-VI School District reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder and to reject any or all bids and/or waive any technicalities or informalities in the bidding.
