Hermitage, MO – Hermitage Multi-Purpose & Music Room

Sealed bids for the Hermitage Multi-Purpose & Music Room will be accepted at the Hermitage R-IV School District Office located at 302 East Polk Street, Hermitage, Missouri 65668 on Tuesday December 23, 2014 until 5:30 pm CST. Bids received after 5:30 pm will be returned unopened. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 5:30 pm CST.

This project consists of a nearly 9,000 square foot addition to the existing school. Located at the east side of the existing building atop the former baseball field, the work will include minor site demolition and grading. Demolition includes, but is not limited to, the removal of a baseball dugout, exterior concrete stair (attached to the existing building), concrete/asphalt walks, light poles, and small condensing units. Site improvements include a new concrete plaza and associated cast-in-place concrete site stairs.

The new addition includes a gymnasium, music room, entrance canopy, and a new metal pan stair to the existing building. Floor construction will be slab-in-grade. The building will be constructed using cast-in-place concrete, steel, and concrete masonry units. The exterior skin comprises of exposed concrete, metal panels, EIFS, and aluminum glazing systems. The roof system consists of a cementitious wood fiber or metal deck topped with lightweight concrete and enclosed with a fully adhered EPDM membrane.
