NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Notice No.2744:

Sealed bids for the Battlefield Corridor Improvements – Lone Pine to Luster will be accepted at the City of Springfield, Busch Building, 840 Boonville, Springfield, MO 65802 until 10:30 a.m. on May 2,
2023 and then publicly opened and read aloud in the 2nd floor West Conference Room of the Busch Building. Bids received after 10:30 a.m. will be returned unopened.

This project consists of roadway improvements along Battlefield Road from a location near the Battlefield – Lone Pine Intersection to a location west of the Battlefield-Luster Intersection. There is concrete pavement replacement in sections, intersection improvements at Luster and Lone Pine. There are ADA and sidewalk improvements which include building sidewalk and a multi-purpose trail between the Galloway Greenway Trail and Lone Pine.

Pre-bid Conference/Site Investigation: A pre-bid conference will be held at 11 :OD a.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in the 2nd floor West Conference Room of the Busch Building. All Bidders are
encouraged to review the work site and attend the Pre-bid Conference.

A certified or cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each proposal. Note all labor shall be paid Missouri Prevailing Wages. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in bids.

The City is committed to providing opportunities to DBE, MBE, and WBE prime, general, and subcontractors and encourages such business enterprises to submit responses.

The City of Springfield, Missouri hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
