PROJECT: FIRE STATION #10 RENOVATION (F0SR)
The City of Springfield is seeking a qualified contractor to provide upgrades to the existing Fire Station #10 which is approximately 7,300 sq. ft. and located at 2245 E. Galloway St. in southeast Springfield. The upgrades include electrical and mechanical upgrades to existing systems including new full station generator; roof replacement; select window and door replacement; flooring replacement; redesign of existing bunking quarters to provide private bunk rooms and shower rooms (shared by 3 shifts of personnel); renovations of existing kitchen and day room spaces; and redesign of 3rd apparatus bay to include turnout gear storage and extractor/dryer apparatus, and fitness workout area; and others as described in plans and specifications.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A pre-bid conference will be held on February 3, 2021, at 9:00 am CST via videoconference through Zoom. To participate, email the Buyer, Margaret Juarez (mjuarez@springfieldmo.gov) for the link and password. The Pre-Bid Conference is not mandatory; however, attendance is strongly advised. Failure to attend may be addressed during the evaluation process.
Bids must be received electronically in the City’s e-bidding service provider DemandStar by 3:00 P.M. CST on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2021.
All wages paid for work under this Contract shall comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law of the State of Missouri, Sec 290.210 et seq., R.S. Mo., as amended by the Division of Labor Standards, State of Missouri and regulations promulgated by the Division of Labor.
