$100 Option – The Centerpiece Sponsorship does not include seats or “swag” items for individual seats. The $100 option DOES include some type of centerpiece purchased on your behalf. Sponsors are recognized in the rotating presentation during the social hour and dinner.
About the Salute to Design & Construction
The members of the design and construction industry are gearing up for the Annual Salute to Design and Construction. The first Salute was held in 1985 as one of twelve “Salutes” to various aspects of Springfield’s community (others included Healthcare, Military, Agriculture and Government along seven others) sponsored by the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. In 1988, the Salute Council took over the planning and implementation of the Salute to Design & Construction and it has continued to evolve over the years.

Prestressed Casting Company
64 Years in Business
Prestressed Casting Co. has been in business since 1957. They have been providing architectural and structural prestressed/precast concrete components for numerous types of projects for over 64 years. To name a few styles of their projects are as follows: Community Style Storm Shelters, Education Facilities, Processing Facilities, Parking Garages, and Sports Arenas.
Originally Prestressed Casting Co. started as an offshoot of W.W. Johnson Construction in 1957. PSC became the primary company in the 1970’s when their current owner, Bill Johnson took over the day-to-day operations.
Prestressed Casting is a contributor to many of the current workforce development programs. PSC actively participates in both Build U and Build My Future to help create a sustainable future in our local construction industry. PSC was recently awarded the following awards: Certified PCI Plant, Certified PCI Erector, and their General Manager is a PCI Fellowship Recipient.
Prestressed Casting Co. is a privately-owned company currently under a 3rd generation owner and one of the earliest prestressed/precast concrete producers in the United States.
Prestressed Casting Co. either participates and/or sponsors at almost every SCA event. Their employees serve as board members, event chairman, committee members, and volunteer on a regular basis. As a company PSC feels the SCA does an amazing job representing the local construction industry and provides ample opportunities to grow professionally, as well as, participate in meaningful and impactful committees.

There is no extra cost for SCA members to join Generation Next. Generation Next is the under 40 group of the Springfield Contractors Association. They have monthly meetings and invite all SCA members to participate in social events and community service opportunities.

Generation Next Membership Competition
In an effort to boost involvement and help owners and managers get their younger employees involved in the Generation Next group, Gen Next is going to pay the 2022 SCA membership fee for the company that gets the most new members to attend Gen Next monthly meetings in 2021.
Generation Next meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month either in the evening or over lunch. Anyone that is a member of the SCA and is under 40 years old can be a member of Generation Next for no additional cost. New members will be counted at each monthly meeting, and a yearend total will determine which SCA Member Company had the most new members for the year attend.
