Spring Golf Tournament

Due to the large response of participants and an ever-growing waitlist, an additional Thursday afternoon, 1 p.m., session is under consideration for this event.

If you are interested in participating in a Thursday afternoon flight, please reach out to the office TODAY, 417-862-1313 or dacee@springfieldcontractors.org. We will only open up this session if we have enough interest among our members.

Please submit team names by Friday, May 14, 2021. Both the morning and afternoon sessions have a waitlist for Friday, May 21.

If you would like to order additional carts, please call the office. The deadline to order additional carts is Thursday, May 6. Cost for an additional cart is $35.

Fees

$100 per player (SCA Member Team) | $150 per Player (Non-Member Team)
Includes: Green Fees, Cart, Beer, Soda, Lunch, One Mulligan per Player, and Skins
Skins: 50% Payback | 50% Scholarships

Afternoon players are encouraged to come early for lunch.

There is no extra cost for SCA members to join Generation Next. Generation Next is the under 40 group of the Springfield Contractors Association. They have monthly meetings and invite all SCA members to participate in social events and community service opportunities.

Buster Crabbe Pools
38 Years in Business

Named after the Olympic swimmer and actor from the 1930s to 1950s, Buster Crabbe Pools provides swimming pool construction, services, and supplies.

Buster Crabbe was started by Jeff Schlesener in 1983, and shortly after was joined by his brother Gary in a fruitful partnership. Originally, they built a “Buster Crabbe” brand of pool. That manufacturer went out of business, but the name stuck because it is what they were known as in the area. Since then, Buster Crabbe Pools have built almost 1,000 pools in Southwest Missouri, have a base of over 3000 service customers, and a 2,000 SF store with parts, chemicals, toys, and floaties.

Generation Next Membership Competition

In an effort to boost involvement and help owners and managers get their younger employees involved in the Generation Next group, Gen Next is going to pay the 2022 SCA membership fee for the company that gets the most new members to attend Gen Next monthly meetings in 2021.

Generation Next meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month either in the evening or over lunch. Anyone that is a member of the SCA and is under 40 years old can be a member of Generation Next for no additional cost. New members will be counted at each monthly meeting, and a yearend total will determine which SCA Member Company had the most new members for the year attend.
