Division Street Bid

Notice No. 2734

Sealed bids for the Division Street Road Improvements – National Ave to Glenstone Ave Project will be accepted at the City of Springfield, Busch Building, 840 Boonville, Springfield, MO 65802 until 10:30 a.m. on March 1, 2022 and then publicly opened and read aloud in the 2nd floor West Conference room of the Busch Building. Bids received after 10:30 a.m. will be returned unopened.

The project consists of roadway improvements along Division Street from a point east of National Avenue to a point west of Glenstone Avenue. The reconstruction of Division street will widen but remain three lanes with an upgraded storm water system, new 5 foot sidewalks on the north side and a multi-purpose trail on the south side.

Pre-bid Conference/Site Investigation: A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:30 a.m. on February 15, 2022, in the 2nd floor West Conference room of the Busch Building. All Bidders are encouraged to review the work site and attend the Pre-bid Conference.

A certified or cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each proposal. Note all labor shall be paid Missouri Prevailing wages. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in bids.

The City of Springfield, Missouri hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially end economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
