The City of Springfield is in the process of implementing a Job Order Contracting (JOC) program that will be used to procure various repairs, rehabilitation, and construction work at various sites and facilities under the jurisdiction of the City. In advance of the construction contracts being solicited, the City is conducting a JOC Information Seminar for the purpose of informing and educating the contracting community on the JOC procurement system.

The City anticipates awarding separate Job Order Contracts for general construction and roofing. Primary topics will include an overview of the JOC procurement system, tips for analyzing the Unit Prices contained in the Construction Task Catalog® to prepare an accurate bid, and the procedure for ordering work to procure individual projects post-award.

This information seminar will be held on Tuesday October 27th, 2020 at 1:30 pm Central Time. The seminar will last approximately 45 minutes and will be conducted via Teams Virtual Conference.
