INVITATION TO BID

The Taney County Regional Sewer District (Owner) is requesting bids for the construction of the following project:

Taney County Regional Sewer District Office and Maintenance Facility

Please note there will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on Tuesday (4/28) at 10:00 AM at the Commission Hearing Room located in the Taney County Courthouse in Forsyth.

Sealed bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Taney County Commission Hearing Room located at 132 David Street until 3:00 PM CST, Monday, May 18, 2020 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.  Interested parties are invited to attend.

Contractors can also mail bids via USPS to PO Box 206, Forsyth, MO 65653 or via UPS and Fedex to 207 David Street, Forsyth, MO 65653.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.  Bids shall be on a unit price basis and lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

Printed or electronic copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office (Springfield Blue Print, 219 E. Pershing, Springfield, MO 65806, 417-869-7316), between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Springfield Blue Print.  Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.  Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Project Description:

This project will consist of the construction of a 7,200 square foot maintenance facility with a large laydown area and storage area enclosed by security fencing.  A bid alternate to construct a 4,600 square foot office building is also included as part of this project.  Additional improvements include site work consisting of grading, utility installation, detention pond construction, parking lot paving, and sidewalk construction.

A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE is scheduled for 10:00 AM CST, Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the Commission Hearing Room in the Taney County Courthouse located at 132 David Street, Forsyth, MO 65653.

Contractors MUST attend the pre-bid conference in order to be eligible to bid on this project.

It shall be mandatory upon each contractor to pay the current prevailing hourly rate of wages as set forth in the Wage Determination Orders of the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of Missouri for Taney County, Missouri.  Please reference the Contract Documents.
