Description: This project includes an early Site Package with earthwork and utilities for an area of over 70,000 square feet. A Precast Concrete supply-only Package for the construction of a safe room of about 8,600 square feet; and an early Structural Steel supply and install packages for the construction of over 66,000 square feet of new building for Williams Elementary.

Official Public Advertisement Nabholz will accept sealed bids for Williams Elementary School Site Work, Structural Steel Fabrication & Precast Fabrication in Springfield, MO until May 7th, 2020 at 2:00PM.

PROCESS FOR SUBMITTING BIDS:
Refer to the Instructions to Bidders section in the Construction Management Manual portion of the bidding
documents for directions on submitting bids.

Bids must be based on a lump-sum amount and must be inclusive of all bid package requirements.

Sealed bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at the General Services Center – Springfield Public Schools at 1458 E Chestnut Expy, Springfield MO 65802

OBLIGATIONS OF BIDDERS:
Bidders must fulfill prequalification requirements in accordance with CM’s trade contractor procurement policy prior to submitting a bid for any Bid Package. Prequalification Questionnaires and applicable supporting documents are required annually, and are available at https://www.nabholz.com/trade-contractor/ or by contacting the Construction Manager’s (‘CM’s”) office at 417.450.6000. Successful bidders providing a complete, responsive, and responsible bid will be required to execute a Master and Project Contract with Nabholz Construction Services, both of which are available for review from Nabholz Construction Services.

Bidders must comply with regulatory and licensing requirements of the State of Missouri as well as all other applicable State statutes. To be considered, bidders must be licensed on day of bid opening.

By providing a bid, firms accept the obligation to honor bids for a period of 60 days after the bid opening.
