PROJECT: LANDFILL OFFICE BUILDING REMODEL (LOBR)
Scope: The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following:
1. This project includes the remodel of an existing 2,423 square foot PEMB office building, the addition of a new 3,063 square foot PEMB office facility and connector space, site improvements and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. The goal of this project is to provide a modern facility that facilitates the current and future needs of the Landfill staff/crews.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A pre-bid conference is scheduled for MAY 26, 2022, 10:00 A.M. The pre-bid conference shall be conducted via videoconference. To participate email the Buyer, Kilina Goldenberg, kilina.goldenberg@springfieldmo.gov for the link and password. The Pre-Bid Conference is not mandatory; however, attendance is strongly advised.
Bids must be received electronically in the City’s e-bidding service provider DemandStar by 3:00 P.M. CST on THURSDAY, JUNE 16, 2022.
All wages paid for work under this Contract shall comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law of the State of Missouri, Sec 290.210 et seq., R.S. Mo., as amended by the Division of Labor Standards, State of Missouri and regulations promulgated by the Division of Labor. The City of Springfield hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
